History Group mixes gallery show and online archive 2017

The Burnsville Sun/Thisweek news October 6, 2017 interviews historical society volunteer Jack Kennelly about the 2017 photo exhibit at the Ames Center titled: The Burnsville Historical Society does the Digital Thing." The 2016 - 2017 emphasis of the historical society is updating its website to include more photos and files of articles about Burnsville. At the time of the exhibit, the site contained over 5000 files. Also interviewed was former Savage resident Terry Kearney whose great grandparents (McNamara/Kearney) were pioneers of Burnsville. Kearney shared his personal online photo files of over 3000 photos for selection.
