Jack Kennelly, one of the volunteers involved with the set-up of the "Burnsville Historical Society Doing the Digital Thing", stands next to a photo of his grandparents (Walter and Rose Kennelly) wedding in 1898 and 50th Wedding Celebration 1948. The MInneapolis and other newspapers found it newsworthy that they and their entire wedding party were alive for the celebration. Also that same month Thomas and Elizabeth Kennelly and John and Bridget Slater (also married in 1898) celebrated their 50th.
