The Ascent Sculpture is slowly unveiled. The Burnsville Community Foundation sponsored the June 2, 2016 unveiling at Nicollet Commons Park of “Ascent,” a 16-foot tall, stainless steel and bronze sculpture and fountain featuring three eagles. The statue was commissioned by the Burnsville Community Foundation and represents “Giving Back” and “Community Service.
