Burnsville Celebrates a Decade of Growth – 1974 Progress Edition.

The Burnsville Historical Society has scanned this historical 24-page special issue commemorates Burnsville’s growth from a Village in 1964 to a thriving city of over 30,000 in 1974. It was published and distributed under the sponsorship of the City’s Industrial Commercial Development Commission, which was appointed by the City Council specifically to promote growth within Burnsville.

Twenty thousand copies of this progress edition were printed and mailed to area residences and business people. It was written by Connie Morrison of the Dakota County Tribune, which printed the publication.
