Nursing class began in Burnsville November 5, 1943

The first meeting of the Burnsville home nursing group was held in the home of Mrs. Frank Fischer October 27, 1943. Mrs. Alfred Kohls is chairwoman and Mrs. Louis Gramsey and Mrs. Frank Fischer are local leaders.

We were taught the proper way of giving a patient a bath and also how to change the bedding with a patient in the bed and many other helpful things. Mrs. Herman Holman was our patient. There were 16 women present. After the meeting a delicious lunch was served. - Mrs. Earl Holman reporter.
