1966 was the 8th Annual Night with the Irish, originally sponsored to benefit St. John the Baptist Church in Savage and coordinated by Joe Kennelly. When Mary Mother of the Church was organized in 1965 the event was sponsored by the new Parish but still included St. John's church and school.
