Jim Scott's store in flames 1964Located at the rail road tracks of Nicols and across from the rail road depot, Jim Scott ran a general store from 1907 -1920. It was then used as a warehouse and later a home. The Eagan Fire Department set and used this as their "first fire". Dakota County Tribune March 19, 1964. Pouring oil for the fire is building owner Joe Kennealy (cousin of the late Jim Scott).
