The Roasted Pear closes 2020June, 2020 - Due to Covid-19, Roasted Pear is unable to reopen. Past months were filed with countless hours of planning and researching any way possible to open up to the community, but there is no viable path forward. From the bottom of our hearts, on behalf of the entire Roasted Pear staff and owners, Craig and Karen, we thank you for 17 years of continued patronage, support, friendships, and memories you have provided. You, too, are a part of our Roasted Pear Family.

Roasted Pear closes - torn downDecember 2021 -
The former Roasted Pear restaurant in Burnsville will be demolished to make way for new a Starbucks and Taco John’s, according to plans recently approved by city officials.
After nearly 20 years in business, the Roasted Pear’s ownership permanently shuttered the restaurant in 2020 due to the hardships of the pandemic.
The freestanding Starbucks and Taco John’s locations planned for the property at 14200 Nicollet Avenue will offer drive-thru service, but the Starbucks will not offer indoor seating, according to the plans.

Roasted Pear razed 2022Roasted Pear Restaurant in Burnsville was leveled this week. Roasted Pear was a very successful restaurant both here and in Maple Grove but closed as a victim of the pandemic April 2022.
